Cruz Bay, U.S. Virgin Islands is the main town on the island of Saint John in the United States Virgin Islands. According to the 2000 census, Cruz Bay had a population of 2,743. Community Cruz Bay, located on the west coast of Saint John, is the island's largest commercial center and the location of the main port on Saint John. The primary access to Saint John is through Cruz Bay Harbor. Frequent barge and ferry, including car ferry, service connects Saint John to the neighboring more-developed island of Saint Thomas. Ferries also run regularly between Cruz Bay and Tortola, Virgin Gorda, and Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands. Coral Bay, United States Virgin Islands
Coral Bay is a town and a sub-district on the island of St. John in the United States Virgin Islands. It is located on the southeastern side of the island. It was the commercial center of the island in the 19th century as the site of the largest plantation, but from the 1950s onward the population dwindled as the Cruz Bay side of the island with its airport and ferry service to St. Thomas became the gateway to the Virgin Islands National Park. Today Coral Bay is a thriving small community with small outdoor restaurants, grocery stores, businesses and tourism services. 8 Tuff Miles Each year in late February, a race runs along Centerline Road from Cruz Bay and ends in the Moravian Church ballfield in Coral Bay. Tutu, also known as Estate Tutu is one of the seven administrative subdistricts on Saint Thomas island in the United States Virgin Islands. It is located in eastern St. Thomas and is mostly made up of the second-largest town in the U.S.V.I., Anna's Retreat in the Tutu Valley, sometimes nicknamed Tutu. According to the U.S. Census Bureau in 2010 the population was 6,867, which is down from 8,197 in 2000 and further down from 9,100 in the U.S. Census of 1990. Tutu is known as a densely populated residential area and is second only to the territorial capital of Charlotte Amalie in terms of highest population density on the island of Saint Thomas. East End is an administrative subdistrict of the island of St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands. The largest community is Red Hook, while smaller communities include Benner, Nazareth, Nadir, Frydendal, and Smith Bay. The subdistrict includes the offshore islands of Great Saint James, Little Saint James, Bovoni Cay, Patricia Cay, Cas Cay, Rotto Cay, Thatch Cay, Shark Island, and Dog Island.
