Distant Soundz
Distant Soundz is one of the pseudonyms of British electronic dance musician, Mark Shrimpton. Shrimpton has released various singles on vinyl and CD under the name. Notable singles In early 2002, Distant Soundz recorded and released a garage cover of Cyndi Lauper's 1984 ballad, " Time After Time" with singer Robbie Beaumont, who made an appearance on ''Never Mind the Buzzcocks'' in the 'Identity Parade' round promoting the re-release of the single. The track received considerable airplay in the UK, and a video was made. Shrimpton performed the hit live on various TV appearances including Channel 4, BBC Wales, and on BBC One's ''Top of the Pops''. The cover is also credited as one of the few UK garage records to be played on BBC Radio 2, with Steve Wright championing the single on his afternoon show. Rozalla Miller (born 18 March 1964), better known as simply Rozalla, is a Zimbabwean electronic music performer who was born in what was then Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia). At the age of 18, she moved with her parents to her father's country of origin, Zimbabwe. She is best known for her three 1991/92 hit singles "Faith (In the Power of Love)", " Are You Ready To Fly", and particularly "Everybody's Free (To Feel Good)", which has been remixed and re-issued several times. Julius O'Riordan (born 1966), better known by his stage name Judge Jules, is a British dance music DJ, record producer and entertainment lawyer. He is known for his DJ activities, music production and long-running radio show which achieved global success. He was voted best DJ in the world by ''DJ Mag'' in 1995. Fragma
Fragma are a German vocal trance music group, originally comprising three producers. The group was successful in the early 2000s when they released several singles that charted successfully across Europe, especially the United Kingdom and Ireland, but also found some success in the United States and Australia. They continued to produce music until 2012 following the departure of vocalist Damae. After several years of hiatus, Fragma recruited a new vocalist in 2017, Tess, to front the group. Capital Radio
Capital London is a radio station owned and operated by the Global media company as part of its national Capital FM Network. As Capital Radio it was launched in the London area in 1973 as one of Britain's first two commercial radio stations. Its brief was to entertain, while its opposite number, London Broadcasting (LBC), was licensed to provide news and information. In search of a larger audience in 1974, Capital Radio rapidly moved from a general and entertainment station with drama, features, documentaries and light music to a more successful pop music-based format. In 1988 it became two stations: 95.8 Capital FM and Capital Gold.
