Disneyland Railroad (Paris)
The Disneyland Railroad (DRR), originally the Euro Disneyland Railroad (EDRR), is a 3-foot () narrow gauge heritage railroad in Disneyland Park in the Disneyland Paris Resort in Marne-la-Vallée, France, which was inaugurated on April 12, 1992, the park's opening day. Its route is in length and is used by park guests for transportation to other areas of the park, or simply for the experience of ''The Grand Circle Tour''. Experience Main Street Station is seen upon entering Disneyland Park, in Main Street, U.S.A.. From there, guests can start their journey around the park, with a recorded narration speaking in both French and English about visited landscapes. Phantom Manor
Phantom Manor is a dark ride attraction in Frontierland at Disneyland Park in Disneyland Paris. Phantom Manor is the park's version of The Haunted Mansion attractions at Disneyland, Magic Kingdom and Tokyo Disneyland, although it is designed to be darker in tone compared to other Haunted Mansion rides. It opened with Euro Disneyland on April 12, 1992. The attraction combines a walk-through portion with Omnimover vehicles and features special effects and Audio-Animatronics. Buffalo Bill
William Frederick Cody (February 26, 1846January 10, 1917), known as "Buffalo Bill", was an American soldier, Bison hunting, bison hunter, and showman. He was born in Le Claire, Iowa, Le Claire, Iowa Territory (now the U.S. state of Iowa), but he lived for several years in his father's hometown in modern-day Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, before the family returned to the Midwest and settled in the Kansas Territory. The Disneyland Railroad (DRR), formerly known as the Santa Fe & Disneyland Railroad, is a 3-foot () narrow-gauge heritage railroad and attraction in the Disneyland theme park of the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, in the United States. Its route is long and encircles the majority of the park, with train stations in four different park areas. The rail line, which was constructed by WED Enterprises, operates with two steam locomotives built by WED and three historic steam locomotives originally built by Baldwin Locomotive Works. The ride takes roughly 18 minutes to complete a round trip on its main line when three trains are running, and 20 minutes when four trains are running. Two to four trains can be in operation at any time, three on average. Severn Lamb, sometimes known as Severn-Lamb, are manufacturers of various forms of transport systems and equipment, principally aimed at the leisure market. Hugh Phillips Engineering
Hugh Phillips Engineering of Tredegar, Wales, were specialists in the manufacture of steam locomotive valves and controls. In 1982 they were involved with refurbishment of the Great Western Railway heavy goods steam locomotive No. 2857; reboring the cylinders and valves for the engine. In 1985-1986 they restored six of the Sudan Railways 2-8-2 for grain haulage. In 1989 they built three diesel railcars for Sudan, and one for Mozambique. In 1991 they built three gauge 4-4-0 steam locomotives and fifteen carriages for Euro Disney. In 1992 a railcar was built for Irish Railways. In 1992 the company went into receivership, but was resurrected as HPE Tredegar Ltd (company number 02715632) who continued in the same business, building railcars for Ghana and Tanzania. 4-4-0 is a locomotive type with a classification that uses the Whyte notation for the classification of steam locomotives by wheel arrangement and represents the arrangement: four leading wheels on two axles (usually in a leading bogie), four powered and coupled driving wheels on two axles, and a lack of trailing wheels.
