''Disconnection Notice'' is the fifth official album by American punk rock band Goldfinger. This was the band's last album to feature former Ünloco guitarist Brian Arthur; original guitarist Charlie Paulson returned after Arthur's departure. Release On July 27, 2004, it was announced that the band's next album would be titled ''Disconnection Notice''; in addition to this, its track listing was posted online. "My Everything" was made available for streaming through the band's website on August 5, 2004. In November 2004, the album was announced for release in February the following year. In addition, "Wasted" was posted on the band's PureVolume profile, before being released to radio on January 25, 2005. On February 1, 2005, the music video for "Wasted" was posted online. In February and March, the group embarked on a US tour with the Start, City Sleeps and Bottom Line. Goldfinger (band)
Goldfinger is an American punk rock and ska punk band from Los Angeles, California, formed in 1994. In their early years the band was considered a contributor to the movement of third-wave ska, a mid-1990s revitalization in the popularity of ska. However, the releases of '' Open Your Eyes'' and '' Disconnection Notice'' saw the band shed most of the ska influence, and they have been more commonly placed in the punk rock genre in later years. The Matches
The Matches are an American rock band from Oakland, California, active from 1997 to 2009. Formed as the Locals, the group changed their name after five years to avoid conflict with a Chicago band of the same name. As the Matches, they self-released their debut album '' E. Von Dahl Killed the Locals'' in 2003, then signed to Epitaph Records who re-released it the following year. Burnout Revenge
''Burnout Revenge'' is a racing video game developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts for PlayStation 2, Xbox and Xbox 360. Similar to its predecessor '' Burnout 3: Takedown'', ''Revenge'' focuses on a mixture of racing in the midst of rush-hour traffic, and vehicular combat; players use the cars themselves as weapons. ''Revenge'' also expands on the combat side of its gameplay with new features such as "traffic checking" (ramming same-way traffic), Vertical Takedowns (landing on a rival car after the player's car drives over a jump), a new game type (Traffic Attack) and significant changes to the gameplay of Crash mode (a game type where players attempt to cause a crash as large as possible). SSX On Tour
''SSX on Tour'' is a snowboarding and skiing game, the fourth title in the '' SSX'' series of video games for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, Xbox and PlayStation Portable. It was released in North America on October 11, 2005 and in the PAL region on October 21, 2005. The PlayStation Portable version was released in Europe on October 28, 2005. In 2007, a prequel titled ''SSX Blur'' was released, which took place between ''SSX 3'' and ''SSX on Tour''. The GameCube version contains Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach as playable characters. This was part of a deal Nintendo had with EA Sports to have Nintendo's intellectual properties appear in EA franchises. Darrin Pfeiffer
Darrin Michael Pfeiffer (born 1969) is an American musician, record producer, band manager and radio personality. He has played drums in the pop punk bands Goldfinger, Sum 41, and The Salads. Biography Pfeiffer was born in Akron, New York. He began his music career in the mid 1980s, when, as a teen, he was a part of a thrash metal band called ''Beyond Death''. The band's two other members went on to found the death metal band Cannibal Corpse in 1988. In 1994, Pfeiffer became a founding member and drummer of Goldfinger. He married Vicky Anderson, the band's Canadian publicist, in 1998. (Anderson left Universal Music in 1998. The couple divorced in 2011). In 2002, Pfeiffer moved from Los Angeles to his wife's hometown of Toronto where he eventually became a Canadian citizen. There, he started managing and producing punk bands. Kelly Thomas LeMieux (born April 7, 1967 in Salem, Oregon, United States) is an American bass player. He is known for being the bassist of the band Goldfinger and his work in the Dave Mustaine project MD.45. He was the touring bass player for Los Angeles punk band Fear in 1997 and 1998. He has toured with Paul Gilbert and appeared on Gilbert's album ''Vibrato'', was a founding member of the Electric Love Hogs, a member of Shrine and 22 Jacks. LeMieux played in Goldfinger until 2014 and is a guest instructor for the Portland chapter of the School of Rock. He was also an instructor for Paul Gilbert's Great Guitar Escape. Bert McCracken
Robert Edward McCracken (born February 25, 1982) is an American singer who is the lead vocalist and songwriter of the rock band The Used. Early life McCracken was born in Provo, Utah, and grew up in Orem. He was raised in a Mormon family with three sisters (Katie, Melanie, Rachel) and one younger brother (Joseph Taylor). McCracken has stated that he read quite voraciously growing up, due to the influence of his mother, who was a schoolteacher. At age 12, he started playing the trumpet in a local band called "I'm With Stupid". He attended Timpanogos High School for a brief time, before dropping out at 16. The Used
The Used is an American rock band from Orem, Utah, that formed in 2001. The group consists of vocalist Bert McCracken, bassist Jeph Howard, drummer Dan Whitesides, and guitarist Joey Bradford. Quinn Allman
Quinn Allman (born January 18, 1982) is an American musician and producer, best known as the founding member, guitarist and backing vocalist in the rock band the Used. Biography Allman grew up in Springville, Utah, and later moved to Pleasant Grove, Utah. As a teenager he used to collect stolen bikes in a barn. He grew up watching his father play in numerous bands as a drummer, originally picking up the drums at age 5. Allman picked up the guitar at age 14, and started playing in bands at 15. Allman is influenced by bands such as Face to Face, Goldfinger, Thursday, Kenna, Weezer, Jimmy Eat World and The New Transit Direction.
