''Dion chante Plamondon'' (meaning ''Dion Sings Plamondon'') is the tenth studio album by Canadian singer Celine Dion. It was released on 4 November 1991 by Columbia Records and features French-language songs with words written by French-Canadian lyricist, Luc Plamondon. In Francophone countries in Europe, the album was renamed ''Des mots qui sonnent'', meaning ''Words That Resonate''. Marie Carmen is the stage name of Marie-Carmen Aubut (born August 24, 1959), a Canadian pop singer and musical theatre actress born in Sainte-Foy, Quebec. Diane Dufresne, (born 30 September 1944) is a French Canadian singer and painter, and is known for singing a large repertoire of popular Quebec songs. Dufresne was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She lived in Paris from 1965 to 1967 where she studied voice with Jean Lumière and dramatic art with Françoise Rosay.
