Dinmukhamet Akhimov
Dinmukhamet Akhimov ( kk, Дінмұхамед Тілеулесұлы Әкімов, ''Dınmūhamed Tıleulesūly Äkımov''; born August 8, 1948), known as "Dimash" ("Димаш") is a Kazakh actor, honoured artist of Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic, holder of " Kurmet" and " Parasat" medals, member of Film-makers Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Career Dinmukhamet Akhimov has been acting since 1968. He graduated from a two-year course at "Kazakhfilm" picture studio. In 1970 he entered in the All-Union State Film Institute of Order of the Red Banner of Labour (Moscow) to the course of the People's Artist of USSR Boris Babochkin and in 1974 he successfully graduated from this Institute. Aktogay ( kz, Ақтоғай, ', اقتوعاي ) is a town in Ayagoz District, East Kazakhstan Region of Kazakhstan and major railway hub of Turkestan-Siberian Railway. Kyz-Zhibek ( kz, Қыз Жібек ''Qyz Jybek'') is a Kazakh poetic folk legend of the 16th century, tells about the period in the Kazakh nation when the people suffered from bloody feuds. In those times each province of the Kazakh nation had its own Khan and each tried to supersede the other. The love story of Tolegen, the brave warrior, and the beauty Zhibek ends tragically because of inter-family strife. Tolegen is foully murdered by Bekezhan (the batyr, or nobleman, of the rival family), who earlier strived for the hand of Zhibek. Zhibek commits suicide after learning about the death of Tolegen. The romantic epic, unfolding at the beginning of the 16th century, when the Kazakh Khanate was first formed from many steppe clans and tribes, was recorded in the 19th century.
