Dinesh Prasad Singh is an Indian politician from Janata Dal (United). He is the member of the Bihar Legislative Council from Muzaffarpur. His wife Veena Devi is a Member of Parliament from Vaishali lokasabha constituency of Bihar. Early life Dinesh Singh was born in Daudpur and studied in Kutahi High school. Political career Singh started his political career in the 1990s. He has served in the Bihar Legislative Council as the chairman as well as member for 18 years. His wife Veena Devi is Member of Parliament from Vaishali. She has also served as MLA of Gaighat Bihar, Chairperson of Muzaffarpur, and Vice Chairperson of Muzaffarpur. He was close to Anand Mohan Singh in 1995 with Bihar People's Party then and stood 3rd from Sahebganj, Muzaffarpur (Vidhan Sabha constituency), he shifted to Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rashtriya Janata Dal and now he is presently in Janata Dal (United) with Nitish Kumar. Bihar Vidhan Parishad, also known as Bihar Legislative Council, is the upper house of the bicameral Bihar Legislature of the state of Bihar in India. History A new Province of Bihar and Odisha was created by the Government of India on 12 December 1911. The Legislative Council with a total of 43 members belonging to different categories was formed in 1912. The first sitting of the Council was convened on 20 January 1913 at Patna College Bankipore. Lalu Prasad Yadav
Lalu Prasad Yadav (born 11 June 1948) is an Indian politician and president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). He is a former List of Chief Ministers of Bihar, Chief Minister of Bihar (1990-1997), a former Ministry of Railways (India), Railway Minister of India (2004-2009), and a former Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Member of Parliament (MP) of the Lok Sabha. He entered politics at Patna University as a student leader and in 1977 at the age of 29, was elected as the youngest member of the Lok Sabha for the Janata Party. He became the Chief Minister of Bihar in 1990. His party came to power in 2015 Bihar Legislative Assembly election in partnership with Nitish Kumar of Janata Dal (United), JD(U). Nitish Kumar
Nitish Kumar (born 1 March 1951) is an Indian politician, who is serving as Chief Minister of Bihar since 22 February 2015, having previous held the office from 2005 to 2014 and for a short period in 2000. The leader of the Janata Dal (United), previously he has also served as a Union Minister as the Samata Party member. Kumar first entered politics as a member of the Janata Dal, becoming an MLA in 1985. A socialist, Kumar founded the Samata Party in 1994 along with George Fernandes. The Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD; translation: ''National People's Party'') is an Indian political party, based in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Kerala. The party was founded in 1997 by Lalu Prasad Yadav.
