Dimps (company)
is a Japanese video game developer based in Osaka, Japan, with an additional office in Tokyo. It is best known for developing games in the ''Sonic the Hedgehog'', ''Dragon Ball'' and ''Street Fighter'' franchises. The company was founded on March 6, 2000 by several former SNK and Capcom employees, including ''Street Fighter'', ''Fatal Fury'', ''Art of Fighting'' and ''The King of Fighters'' co-creator Takashi Nishiyama and Hiroshi Matsumoto. The Rumble Fish
is a 2D fighting game developed by Dimps and first published by Sammy for the Atomiswave arcade platform in 2004, and was later ported by Sega to the Sony PlayStation 2 on March 17, 2005. In 2020, a homebrew conversion was released for the Dreamcast. A sequel,'' The Rumble Fish 2'', has since been developed.
