Dimos Dikoudis
Dimosthenis "Dimos" Dikoudis (alternate spellings include: Demosthenis, Demos, Ntikoudis) ( el, Δημοσθένης "Δήμος" Ντικούδης; born June 24, 1977 in Larissa, Greece), is a retired Greek professional basketball player. He is 2.08 m (6 ft 10 in) tall, and he played as a power forward-center. Early years Dikoudis started playing football at the age of 10, and later he was involved in Taekwondo. After two years of martial arts, he started playing basketball in his school team. With his school, he won the city championship, which was his first title, and right after that, he joined his first club, Perseas of Larissa. He played there until age 18, and he won four city and state championships there. With this club, he also won a national title, and was a member of the all state team. Dimosthenis "Dimos" Manglaras ( el, Δημοσθένης "Δήμος" Μαγκλάρας; born 3 June 1940, in Katerini) is a former Greek long jumper. At the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome he ranked 11th, and at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo he didn't pass the qualification. His personal bests are 7.74 m outdoors (25 July 1964, in Cairo) and 7.24 m indoors (27 March 1966, in Dortmund). Jimmy Dimos
Jimmy N. Dimos (October 18, 1938 – May 18, 2023) was a Yugoslavian-born American judge and politician in Louisiana. He immigrated from SR Macedonia, Socialist Federal Republic Yugoslavia (modern-day North Macedonia) as a child in 1951, joining his father in the U.S. He was a member of the Eastern Orthodox Church growing up. He graduated from Neville High School in Monroe, Louisiana. He attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe and Tulane University. Dimos served in the Louisiana House of Representatives from 1976 to 1999. He represented Ouachita Parish. During the governorship of Buddy Roemer, Dimos was speaker of the house. He served as a judge of the Louisiana Fourth Judicial District Court bench from 1999 to 2007.
