Dillagi (1966 Film)
Dillagi (Hindi: दिल्लगी, translation: Infatuation) is a 1966 Bollywood film starring Mala Sinha and Sanjay Khan in lead roles. The film was produced by Tony Walker, directed by S. Banerjee, with screenplay and dialogues by Mushtaq Jalili, story by Mehmood Lucknavi, lyrics by Majrooh Sultanpuri and music by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. Plot Seema (Mala Sinha) lives with her parents. One day she meets Sapan (Sanjay Khan) in a club, when his friend Deepak (Vijay Kumar) tries to make them fall in love with each other. Deepak's plan doesn't work and Sapan cautions him, that love cannot be contrived, but Deepak doesn't listen and sends a love letter to Seema in Sapan's name. Seema is furious on receiving the letter and insults Sapan in the club, in front of many people. Sapan vows revenge, and says he will make Seema fall in love with him, while he will fake it. Mala Sinha
Alda Sinha (born 11 November 1936), better known by her stage name Mala Sinha is a former Indian actress who has worked in Hindi, Bengali and Nepali films. Initially starting her career with regional cinema, she went on to become a top leading actress in Hindi Cinema in the late 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s. Sanjay Khan
Sanjay Khan (born Shah Abbas Ali Khan Tanoli, 3 January 1941) is an Indian actor, producer, and director known for his works in Hindi films and television. Sanjay Khan made his debut in Chetan Anand's 1964 film '' Haqeeqat'', followed by the Rajshri film ''Dosti'' which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi for that year. Majrooh Sultanpuri
Asrar ul Hassan Khan (1 October 1919 − 24 May 2000), better known as Majrooh Sultanpuri, was an Indian Urdu poet and lyricist in India's Hindi language film industry. He wrote Hindustani lyrics for numerous Hindi film soundtracks. He was one of the dominating musical forces in Indian cinema in the 1950s and early 1960s, and was an important figure in the Progressive Writers' Movement. He is considered one of the finest avant-garde Urdu poets of 20th century literature. In his career spanning six decades, he worked with many music directors. Laxmikant–Pyarelal were an Indian composer duo, consisting of Laxmikant Shantaram Patil Kudalkar (1937–1998) and Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma (born 1940). Nazima (25 March 1948; née Mehr-un-Nissa) is a Bollywood actress who was most famous for her roles as supporting actress in films in 1960s and early 1970s. Gajanan Jagirdar
Gajanan Jagirdar (2 April 1907 – 13 August 1988) was a veteran Indian film director, screenwriter and actor. He worked in Hindi Cinema, also called Bollywood, as well as Marathi cinema. The period of 1942 to 1947, saw his rise as a film director with Prabhat Films. He was appointed as the first director (then principal) of thFilm and Television Institute of India (FTII)in 1960 which was known as ''Film Institute of India'' then. Jagirdar served as the director of the FTII for just over a year, from 1961 to 1962. He was associated with the Prabhat Film Company three decades before his FTII role, when the campus was the base of the Prabhat. Badruddin Jamaluddin Kazi (11 November 1924 – 29 July 2003), better known by his stage name Johnny Walker, was an Indian actor who acted in around 300 films. He was best known for his humorous roles in Indian films, notably being typecasted as a hapless drunkard. Early life When his father lost his job, the family moved to Mumbai. Bela Bose is an Indian dancer and actress who was active in Hindi films during the 1960s and 70s. Early life Bela Bose was born in Calcutta in a well-to-do family. Mohammed Rafi
