Dildar, born Yûnis Reuf ( ku, یوونس ڕەئووف, Yûnis Mele Re'ûf, 20 February 1918 – October 20, 1948) was a Kurdish poet and political activist, best known for writing the Kurdish national anthem Ey Reqîb. Early life and his studies Dildar was born on 20 February 1918 in the town of Koy Sanjaq located in the Mosul Vilayet of the Ottoman Empire. In his youth, he attended school in Ranya, high school in Kirkuk and moved to Baghdad to study law. Life Literary style Many of his poems were written in the classical Kurdish style with quantitative rhythm and monorhyme. His poems were published in the ''Ronākī'' and ''Galawēz'' literary journals in Erbil and Baghdad. He moreover introduced romantic and realistic elements in Kurdish poetry. Sayyid Dildar 'Ali, also known as Ghufran-Ma'ab Naseerabadi, (1753 – 10 January 1820) was a Shia scholar of India, from the village of Nasirabad, Raibareli in Uttar Pradesh, India. His best-known work is "Imad-ul-Islâm", in Arabic, a refutation of the anti-Shia arguments used by the famous Fakhr al-Din al-Razi. Names The title "Ghufran Ma'ab Nasirabadi" was bestowed on him by scholars in Najaf, Iraq and means "the one who lives in heaven" due to his scholarly attributes. He was popularly known as Ghufran Ma'ab Life and family Seyyid Dildar Ali Nasirabadi was born in 1166 AH (1753 AD), the son of Seyyid Muhammad Muin bin Seyyid Abdul Hadi. Dildar Hussain (born 1957) is a Pakistani percussionist and tabla player. He is known for being the left handed tabla player for late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, a renowned Qawwali singer. Dildar Hussain played tabla for him in his qawwali-singing group until Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan died in 1997. Dildar Mohammad Awan (1 November 1928 – 7 January 2000) was a Pakistani cricketer who played first-class cricket in Pakistan from 1958/59 to 1972/73. He was a right-arm off-spin bowler. He later became an umpire. Career with Combined Services Making his first-class debut a few weeks after turning 30, Awan took 5 for 19 and 3 for 16 in his first match, for Combined Services against Rawalpindi in December 1958. He was the most successful bowler in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy that season, taking 25 wickets at 16.36 and helping Combined Services into the final against Karachi. Karachi won the final by 279 runs, Awan taking three wickets, but the course of the match was overshadowed by the death of the Karachi wicket-keeper Abdul Aziz.
