Dilan Perera
Boddhiya Baduge Dilan Priyanjan Anslam Perera, MP (born 19 April 1962) (known as ''Dilan Perera'') is a Sri Lankan politician. Current Member of Parliament for Badulla District, he was the former State Minister of Highways, State Minister of Housing and Samurdhi, Non-Cabinet Minister of Port Development, and Deputy Minister of Justice. Early life and education Born to Marshal Perera, PC and Daya Perera, he was educated at Royal College Colombo and studied at the Sri Lanka Law College. Political career Perera entered politics in 1988, when he was elected to the Uva Provincial Council and served as leader of the opposition from 1993 to 1994. Royal College, Colombo is a selective entry boys' school located in Cinnamon Gardens, Colombo, Sri Lanka. Started as a private school by Rev Joseph Marsh in 1835, it was established as the Colombo Academy by Sir Robert Wilmot-Horton in January 1836, as part of the implementation of the recommendations of the Colebrooke Cameron Commission (1833), and was the first government-run secondary school for boys in the island. Saroja Sirisena
Saroja Sirisena is a Sri Lankan diplomat. She serves as the Sri Lankan High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, which she was appointed to in 2020. She has previously held diplomatic positions at the United Nations, as well as in Austria and India. Early life and education Sirisena was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka. An only child, she was daughter to a family of doctors and grew up in both England and Colombo. She attended Devi Balika Vidyalaya, a school in Colombo, and was active in track and field. Early life and education Nalanda Sampath Ellawala was born 26 March 1967, to the Radala Ellawala family from Ratnapura. His family was active in the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, his father Nanda Ellawala, a member of parliament for Ratnapura (1970–1977), and his mother Surangani Ellawala, later served as the Governor of the Central Province (2015–2016).
