''Digital Native'' is the debut studio album by Japanese electronica musician Yasutaka Nakata, released on February 7, 2018 by Warner Music Japan sublabel Unborde. The album features vocal contributions from session singer Rosii, British singer Charli XCX, Japanese rock singer-musician Yonezu Kenshi, Japanese model-singers Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Momo Mashiro, and Japanese hip-hop duo chelmico's Mamiko, as well as additional music production from Japanese dubstep musician Banvox. The album debuted at number 13 of the Oricon Weekly Albums chart, selling 4,742 copies on its first week of release. It also debuted at the top spot of the Oricon Weekly Digital Albums chart with 2,124 downloads. Yasutaka Nakata
is a Japanese DJ and music producer. He formed the band Capsule in 1997 with vocalist Toshiko Koshijima and himself as composer and record producer when both were 17. The band debuted in 2001 with the song "Sakura". He is known for being the music producer of Japanese girl group Perfume and Japanese model-turned-singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu since 2003 and 2011, respectively. These artists have gained commercial success for their songs that Nakata wrote and produced, such as " Chocolate Disco", "Polyrhythm", "Fashion Monster", and " Ninja Re Bang Bang". Nakata has worked with several other Japanese pop singers, including MEG, Ami Suzuki and SMAP, and has also remixed songs by other artists, including M-Flo and Leah Dizon. is a Japanese musician, singer-songwriter, record producer and illustrator who began releasing Vocaloid music under the stage name in 2009. In 2012, he debuted under his real name, releasing music with his own voice. He has sold at least 4.2 million physical copies and more than 7 million digital copies in Japan.
