Early life Diggs was born in Rowlett, Texas, and played high school soccer at Rowlett High School. Diggs played club soccer for the Dallas Sting. Collegiate career Diggs attended the University of Central Florida where she played as a defender for the Knights. Diggs was a starter in all four collegiate seasons. He played college football at Alabama and was drafted by the Cowboys in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Early years Diggs initially attended Thomas S. Stefon Marsean Diggs (born November 29, 1993) is an American football wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Maryland, and was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Diggs became a full-time starter for the Vikings midway through his rookie year despite his late-round draft status. Quincy Johan Diggs (born April 8, 1990) is an American professional basketball player for Kaposvári KK of the Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A. College career In the 2011–11 season, the Akron Zips qualified for the NCAA Tournament, where they lost to Notre Dame with Diggs scoring 11 points in the matchup. The following season Akron lost in the MAC tournament final to Ohio when Diggs's missed a desperation last second shot. The Zips participate in the National Invitation Tournament in 2012, however, they lost in the first round to Northwestern despite 18 points from Diggs. He played college football at Texas, and was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Sally Maria Diggs (1851 – October 27, 1928) was an enslaved African-American girl, also known as "Pinky," whose freedom was famously bought by Henry Ward Beecher in 1860, during a sermon at Plymouth Church, Brooklyn, NYC. Beecher famously said, "No child should be in slavery, let alone a child like this’ and raised $900 to purchase her freedom. A parishioner named Rose Terry donated a ring toward Diggs' freedom. Upon her emancipation, Diggs was renamed Rose Ward, after Rose Terry and Henry Ward Beecher. The episode was celebrated in a number of paintings and drawings at the time, including Eastman Johnson's "Freedom Ring." Diggs later attended Howard University and married a lawyer named James Hunt, at which point she became Rose Ward Hunt.
