Dig It (Klaus Schulze Album)
''Dig It'' is the thirteenth album by Klaus Schulze. It was originally released in 1980, and in 2005 was the sixth Schulze album reissued by Revisited Records. It is Schulze's first fully digital recording. The 2005 reissue includes a bonus DVD with the video recording of the 1980 performance at Ars Electronica, which was previously released as audio on ''The Ultimate Edition'' (2000). The opening track, "Death of an Analogue", would later find use as the main theme to the 1982 Australian horror film ''Next of Kin'', starring Jacki Kerin and John Jarratt John Jarratt is an Australian television film actor, producer and director and TV presenter who rose to fame through his work in the Australian New Wave. ''Dig-It'' is an album by saxophonists Lee Konitz and Ted Brown recorded in 1999 and released on the Danish SteepleChase label. Critical reception In JazzTimes, Duck Baker wrote: "A less known figure, Brown is nevertheless a wonderful player; his style basically as it was in the ’50s, occupying sort of a middle ground between Warne Marsh and Lester Young. It’s interesting to note the subtle difference in Konitz’s approach here, compared to his work with the like-minded Marsh. ... I’ve always felt that returning to this material brings out the best in Konitz, and it’s great to hear Brown again". Dig It (Beatles Song)
"Dig It" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles from their 1970 album ''Let It Be''. The song is credited to Lennon/McCartney/Harrison/ Starkey, and is one of the few songs to be credited to all of the Beatles. This song and the 39-second "Maggie Mae" appear on the ''Let It Be'' album, but are excluded from the '' Let It Be... Naked'' album, instead being replaced with " Don't Let Me Down". Glyn Johns' May 1969 version of the album, then titled ''Get Back'', had a four-minute excerpt of "Dig It", which was later reduced to the much shorter version in the final album. Recording Several versions were recorded during the ''Get Back''/''Let It Be'' sessions, on 24, 26, 27, 28, and 29 January 1969, at Apple Studio. The 51-second version on the album is an extract taken from the 26 January version, which was a 15-minute jam that evolved from a loose "Like a Rolling Stone" jam.
