Diego Sánchez De Badajoz
Diego Sánchez de Badajoz (died 1549) was an important Spanish poet and dramatist of the Renaissance. Biography Little is known of the life of Diego Sánchez de Badajoz. He was probably born in Talavera la Real around the end of the 15th century, and spent most of his life there. He may have attended secondary school in Salamanca. He was a parish priest in Talavera la Real between 1533 and 1549. He was closely associated with Badajoz Cathedral and the Dukes of Feria. Works The dates of his works are quite uncertain. Thus the ''Farsa de la ventera'' (Farce of the landlady) refers to a time of famine, and López Prudencio considers it may have been written in 1523 or 1540. Ann E. Wiltrout suggests a later date, between 1545 and 1549. His nephew published the collected poems and dramas of Diego Sánchez de Badajoz in Seville, 1554. Diego Sanchez (born December 31, 1981) is an American professional mixed martial artist. He competes in the Welterweight division. A professional competitor since 2002, Sanchez is most known for his time in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he won the Middleweight tournament of The Ultimate Fighter 1. He has also formerly competed for King of the Cage, where he was the Welterweight Champion. Sanchez has been involved in more "Fight of the Year" bouts than any other fighter in mixed martial arts; his first was against Karo Parisyan at UFC Fight Night 6, and then again against Clay Guida at The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale (which culminated into a title shot against then-UFC Lightweight Champion B.J. Diego Ignacio Sánchez Carvajal (, born 8 May 1987) is a Chilean footballer that currently plays for the Primera División club Coquimbo Unido as a goalkeeper. Club career Early career Born in Santiago, Sánchez joined Palestino youth ranks aged twelve thanks to his father Gustavo that played there during the 1980s and was member of the team's 1986 Primera División runner-up squad. Diego Sánchez Montoya (born 4 May 1990) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Jumilla CF as a forward. Club career Born in Murcia, Sánchez played youth football with local Real Murcia and CA Cabezo de Torres, making his senior debuts in the 2009–10 season with CD Bala Azul in Tercera División. He first arrived in Segunda División B in the 2010 summer, signing with Jumilla CF. Sánchez spent the following two years in the third level, with Lorca Atlético CF and CF Fuenlabrada. Diego Sánchez Pérez (born 18 July 2003) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a left back for Sporting de Gijón. Club career Born in Avilés, Asturias, Sánchez joined Sporting de Gijón's Mareo in 2011, aged eight. He made his senior debut with the reserves on 14 February 2021, coming on as a late substitute in a 0–1 Segunda División B away loss against CD Lealtad. Sánchez scored his first senior goal on 16 May 2021, netting the B's third in a 3–1 home win over CD Guijuelo, as both sides were already relegated.
