Dick Weiss
Richard Weiss (born 1946 in Everett, Washington) is an American glass artist. He is part of the American Studio Glass Movement. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut. He is a teacher at Pilchuck Glass School and is primarily known for his large installations such as the work at The Seattle/Tacoma Airport and his collaborations with Walter Lieberman with the name of WD40+. Edmonds Woodway High School
Edmonds Woodway High School is one of five high schools in the Edmonds School District in Edmonds, Washington, United States. It serves students in grades 9-12. It was ranked as the No. 318 high school in America by ''Newsweek Magazine'' in 2009. As of 2022, the principal is Allison Larsen. History and facilities Edmonds-Woodway was formed when Edmonds High School and Woodway High School, both in the city of Edmonds, merged in 1990. The schools' colors (gold, purple, orange and green) were combined, although purple and green are the dominant colors used. The school used the old Woodway High School building until construction on a new facility at the old Edmonds High School site. Prior to the merger, the two schools were academic and athletic rivals, despite sharing feeder middle schools. Sitka Lutheran Church
Sitka Lutheran Church ( fi, Sitkan luterilainen kirkko) is an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sitka, Alaska. Its first building was constructed in 1843 on what is now 224 Lincoln Street and was the first Protestant church in Alaska. The original church was built and its congregation established through the efforts of Arvid Adolf Etholén, the eighth Russian governor of Alaska. The land on which the church was constructed was deeded to the congregation in perpetuity by the Russian government at the time of the Alaska Purchase. The current church building is the third to be constructed on the site and was completed in 1967.
