"Dibby Dibby Sound" is a song by British record producer DJ Fresh and American record producer Jay Fay (whose track it is heavily based on), featuring vocals from British singer Ms. Dynamite. It was released on 2 February 2014 as the second single from his forthcoming fourth studio album. The song was written by Dan Stein, The Invisible Men, Niomi McLean-Daley and Joshua Fagin. It premiered on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show, who made it the week's ''Hottest Record in the World'' on 29 October 2013. Background and release The song heavily samples Jay Fay's 2013 song "Dibby Dibby", featured on T&A Records' ''Moombahton Forever'' compilation album. which in turn samples "The Wickedest Sound" by Rebel MC featuring Tenor Fly. Jay reworked the song with Fresh, and Ms. Dynamite's vocals were added later. Daniel Edward Stein (born 11 April 1977), better known by his stage name DJ Fresh, is an English musician, DJ, record producer, best known for making electronic music. He is one of the principal members of the drum and bass group Bad Company, alongside Darren White (dBridge), Jason Maldini and Michael Wojcicki (Vegas). He also owns and runs the drum and bass label Breakbeat Kaos with Adam F. Tenor Fly
Jonathan Sutter (7 July 1967 – 17 June 2016), better known by his stage name Tenor Fly, was a British singer and rapper. He rose to prominence in the ragga movement of the early 1990s. Sutter was a solo artist and later a member of Freestylers. Fly was active in the music business from 1988, and was best known for his work with other artists, such as Rebel MC, Top Cat, Barrington Levy and Sir Coxson Sound. The Partysquad is a Dutch DJ production team. It consists of Jerry Leembruggen, Ruben Fernhout and Lorenzo Biemans. Since the early 2000s they have had 12 singles charting on the Dutch Top 40. They produced part of British rapper M.I.A.'s fourth and fifth albums, ''Matangi'', released in 2013, and '' AIM'', released in 2016. Career The Partysquad started producing in the hip hop genre, collaborating with many Dutch rappers. In 2006, they released a hip hop album titled ''De Bazen Van De Club''. Sigma are a British drum and bass DJ and record production duo consisting of Cameron James "Cam" Edwards and Joseph Aluin "Joe" Lenzie. They met at Leeds University at drum and bass nights. Their 2010 collaboration with DJ Fresh, "Lassitude", peaked at number 98 on the UK Singles Chart. Their single "Nobody to Love" topped the UK Singles Chart, becoming their first UK number one. Their second was the follow-up single " Changing", featuring Paloma Faith. "Jack" is a song by British record producer Breach. It was released through Dirtybird Records as a single on 12 July 2013, and peaked at number 9 in the UK Singles Chart. Music video The official music video was released on 14 June 2013. The music video follows a woman and a man with a mustache who appear to be lip-synching the song. Next appears a man dressed as a caveman with a furry skirt. He carries a box in with a lever that switches their hair to where there shouldn't have hair and vice versa. The caveman then presses the 'Automatic' button which continues the switching back and forth, also allowing him to perform a repetitive dance accompanied by a blonde female. Ben Westbeech is a British DJ and record producer originating from Hertfordshire who spent his formative musical years in Bristol. Trained as cellist and vocalist, his influences include house, soul, jazz and hip hop. Music career Early career: 2007–08 Westbeech gave a CD containing his first single "So Good Today" to a friend in London. Two months later she played it to Gilles Peterson who snapped it up.
