''Diario di una schizofrenica'' (internationally released as ''Diary of a Schizophrenic Girl'') is a List of Italian films of 1968, 1968 Cinema of Italy, Italian drama film directed by Nelo Risi. Umberto Raho
Umberto Raho (4 June 1922 – 9 January 2016) was an Italian stage, film and television actor. Life and career Born in Bari, the son of an Italian father and a Bulgarian mother, Raho graduated in philosophy and then, immediately after the war, he debuted on stage. While theater was his main activity, Raho was also a very prolific film character actor, with over one hundred credits starting from 1948. He was also active in television films and series. Death Raho died on 9 January 2016 in Anzio, Italy, at the age of 93. 29th Venice International Film Festival
The 29th annual Venice International Film Festival was held from 25 August to 7 September 1968. The May 1968 events in France had serious repercussions on this festival. Five days before the festival was to be held, directors of the Italian filmmakers association ANAC, for both political and cultural reasons, withdrew their films from the competition. The Communist Party and the Socialist Party of Proletarian Unity were in favor of the boycott. Some directors, however, defected from this decision and Roberto Rossellini, Liliana Cavani, Bernardo Bertolucci and Nelo Risi decided to project their films. Pier Paolo Pasolini initially refused to participate at the festival, but finally his film entered in Competition. Ivan Vandor
Ivan Vandor (13 October 1932 – 15 November 2020) was an Italian composer, musician and ethnomusicologist of Hungarian origin. Life Born in Pécs, Vandor moved in Rome, Italy with his family in 1938. He began studying violin at 6 and piano at 8, and, from 1948 to 1954, was tenor sax in the group Roman New Orleans Jazz Band. He was later also member of the avant-garde groups Musica Elettronica Viva and Gruppo di Improvvisazione di Nuova Consonanza. In 1959 he graduated in Composition with Goffredo Petrassi at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory and in 1962 he obtained Italian citizenship. Graduated in ethnomusicology at U.C.L.A., he authored several books and essays.
