Diana Chelaru
Diana Maria Chelaru (; born 15 August 1993) is a Romanian Artistic gymnastics, artistic gymnast who competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Early gymnastics career Chelaru started to train for gymnastics at CSS Oneşti Club with coaches Elena Dragomir, Octavian Teodoru and Ioana Dragomir. In 2005, she joined the junior national team where she trained with coaches Aurica Nistor, Lacramioara Filip, Lacramioara Moldovan, Claudiu Moldovan, Cristian Moldovan, Carmen Bogasiu, Ingrid Istrate and Daniel Nistor. 2010 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 2010 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held at the Rotterdam Ahoy indoor sporting arena in the Netherlands from 16 to 24 October 2010. In this year's championships, there was a total of 73 participating federations with 615 gymnasts (343 men and 272 women). 53 men's and 44 women's teams competed. Gymnastics Uneven Bars
The uneven bars or asymmetric bars is an artistic gymnastics apparatus. It is made of a steel frame. The bars are made of fiberglass with wood coating, or less commonly wood. The English abbreviation for the event in gymnastics scoring is UB or AB, and the apparatus and event are often referred to simply as "bars". The bars are placed at different heights and widths, allowing the gymnast to transition from bar to bar. A gymnast usually adds white chalk to the hands so that they can grip the bar better. Gymnastics Balance Beam
The balance beam is a rectangular artistic gymnastics apparatus and an event performed using the apparatus. Both the apparatus and the event are sometimes simply referred to as "beam". The English abbreviation for the event in gymnastics scoring is BB. The beam is a small, thin beam which is typically raised from the floor on a leg or stand at both ends. The balance beam is only performed competitively by female gymnasts. Beams are usually covered with leather-like material and are only four inches wide. The vault is an artistic gymnastics apparatus which gymnasts perform on, as well as the skill performed using that apparatus. Vaulting is also the action of performing a vault. Elena Amelia Racea (born 29 August 1994 in Tîrgu Jiu, Romania) is a Romanian artistic gymnast. She is a European champion on balance beam and a European all around and team bronze medalist. Early gymnastics career Racea started gymnastics at the age of 6 and won her first all around national title in her age category in 2007. In 2008, she joined the junior national team in Deva. She had a successful junior career, medaling at various international competitions. Gymnastics At The 2012 Summer Olympics – Women's Artistic Qualification
The qualifications round of the women's artistic gymnastics competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics was held at the North Greenwich Arena on July 29. The top 8 teams advanced to the team final, the top 24 gymnasts (with a limit of two per country) to the individual all-around final, and the top 8 gymnasts on each apparatus (with a limit of two per country) to the apparatus finals. Subdivisions Gymnasts from nations taking part in the team all-around event were grouped together, while gymnasts competing without full teams were divided into eight "mixed groups".
