Diamond Youth
Diamond Youth was an American alternative rock band from Baltimore, Maryland, with members from Chicago, Illinois and Richmond, Virginia. History Diamond Youth began in 2010, under the name Diamond, with the release of a 7" on Photobooth Records titled ''DMND''. In 2011, Diamond Youth released an EP titled ''Don't Lose Your Cool'' on Alliance Trax and Fita Records. In December, the band supported Four Year Strong on their brief holiday tour dubbed It's a Wonderful Gig Life. In 2013, Diamond Youth released their third EP titled ''Orange'' on Topshelf Records. In March, they embarked on a two-week tour with Turnover and PJ Bond. In November and December, the band went on tour with Citizen, Polar Bear Club and Sainthood Reps. PJ Bond is an American singer and songwriter. He released a full-length solo album, ''You Didn't Know I Was Alphabetical'', in 2009. He has also released a split album – ''Brother Bones / Baby Bones'' (2012) – with his brother, Brian, and two extended plays (EPs), ''April 22: Vienna, Austria'' and ''Ten Degrees and the Floor'', both in 2011. Biography PJ Bond, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, had stints in a handful of bands in the 2000s including Outsmarting Simon, The Color Fred, and Communipaw. He decided to pursue a solo career after Outsmarting Simon, which had released two albums on Triple Crown Records, went on an indefinite hiatus. I Am the Avalanche is an American punk rock band from Brooklyn, New York. The group's name comes from a lyric written by Vinnie Caruana for a song which was later discarded. The phrase also appears in the poem ''"Oh, Immobility, Death's Vast Associate"'' by Stephen Dobyns; however, Caruana maintains that this is a coincidence, and that he was not aware of the poem until after naming the band. Sainthood Reps is an American indie rock band from Long Island, New York, formed in 2009. Their debut album, ''Monoculture'', was released on Tooth & Nail Records in the summer of 2011 and was produced by Mike Sapone. Polar Bear Club was an American post-hardcore band from Rochester and Syracuse in upstate New York.
