Dia Sokol Savage
Dia Sokol Savage is an American film and television producer, director and writer. She is best known as the executive producer of MTV’s hit series 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom franchise and as a producer on Andrew Bujalski’s films “Mutual Appreciation” and “Beeswax.” She currently runs 11th Street Productions with her producing partner Morgan J. Freeman. Background Sokol Savage was born in West Virginia and grew up in Denver, Colorado. ''16 and Pregnant'' is an American reality television series that aired from June 11, 2009, to July 1, 2014, on the cable channel MTV. It followed the stories of pregnant teenage girls in high school dealing with the hardships of teenage pregnancy. Each episode featured a different teenage girl, with the episode typically beginning when she is – 8 months into her pregnancy. The episode typically ends when the baby is a few months old. The series is produced in a documentary format, with an animation on notebook paper showing highlights during each episode preceding the commercial breaks. Adrienne Levine (June 24, 1966 – November 1, 2006), better known by the stage name Adrienne Shelly (sometimes credited as Adrienne Shelley), was an American actress, film director and screenwriter. She became known for roles in independent films such as Hal Hartley's '' The Unbelievable Truth'' (1989) and ''Trust'' (1990).
