Dhoria
Dhoria is a large village of Gujrat District, in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is part of Kharian Tehsil and is located at 32°46'0N 73°50'0E with an altitude of 256 metres (843 feet). Dhoria has many communities – Gujjar, Mughal, Sayed, jatt and large number of Bhatti cast, and many other castes. Dhoria used to be an agricultural village, but some persons have business and many persons go to abroad for temporarily employment and business. Many have settled abroad in almost every country of the world. It is a fairly rich and small town on the Dinga to Kharian road. The village has good road connection the nearby cities and village and is centrally located for educational, business and medical facilities. It is a hub of activity throughout the day visited by the villagers around Dhoria to buy & sell commodities, visit hospitals, go to schools or just travel through. Punjab (; , ) is one of the four provinces of Pakistan. Located in central-eastern region of the country, Punjab is the second-largest province of Pakistan by land area and the largest province by population. The Districts of Pakistan ( ur, ); are the third-order administrative divisions of Pakistan, below provinces and divisions, but forming the first-tier of local government. In total, there are 169 districts in Pakistan including the Capital Territory and the districts of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan. Gujrat ( Punjabi and ur, ), is a district of Punjab Province in Pakistan. It is bounded on the northeast by Mirpur, on the northwest by the River Jhelum, which separates it from Jhelum District, on the east and southeast by the Chenab River, separating it from the districts of Gujranwala and Sialkot, and on the west by Mandi Bahauddin. Pakistan Standard Time ( ur, , abbreviated as PKT) is UTC+05:00 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time. The time zone is in use during standard time in Asia. History Pakistan had been following UTC+05:30 since 1907 (during the British Raj) and continued using it after independence in 1947. On 15 September 1951, following the findings of mathematician Mahmood Anwar, two time zones were introduced.
