Ratheesh (1954–2002) was an Indian actor best known for his work in Malayalam cinema. He was a native of Kalavoor in the Alappuzha district of Kerala, India. He performed villainous roles during the 1990s. He had acted in 158 films with directors such as K. G. George, I. V. Sasi, Joshiy, P. G. Vishwambharan, Thampy Kannamthanam, Sreekumaran Thampi, Rajasenan,P.K.Joseph and Shaji Kailas. Unlike other villains of the time, Ratheesh captivated the Malayalam movie lovers with his charms and handsome looks. Personal life He was born to Puthenpurayil V. Bheeman Raghu (born 6 October 1953) is an Indian actor, singer, dancer, former politician and police officer (retired) who appears mainly in Malayalam films and is best known for his villainous and comedy roles. In a career spanning over three decades, he has appeared in more than 400 films, and has started doing comic roles as well. Raghu's debut movie was ''Bheeman'' (1982), from which he got his stage name. By profession, Raghu was an inspector in the Kerala Police force. He came to films as one of the experimental replacements for Jayan after his death. Poovachal Khader (25 December 1948 – 22 June 2021) was a Malayalam lyricist from Kerala who worked mainly in Malayalam film industry. His first movie as a lyricist was ''Kaattuvithachavan'' (1973) but his first released movie was ''Chuzhi'' (1973). Biography Khader was born on Christmas day in 1948, in a village named Poovachal in the present-day Thiruvananthapuram district. His original name is Muhammed Abdul Khader. His parents are Aboobacker Pillai and Rabiyathul Adabiya Beevi. Chuzhi released in 1973 under the musical direction of M. S. Baburaj was the first movie released after Poovachal Khader entered the industry as a lyricist and was proud of having written lyrics for more than 900 songs in the Malayalam film industry.
