Dhalai River
The Dhalai River (also known as Dhala River) a trans-boundary river in India and Bangladesh. It rises in the mountains of the Indian state of Tripura. It enters Kulaura Upazila of Maulvibazar District of Bangladesh. Later it joins Manu River in Rajnagar Upazila. The co-ordinates of Dhalai River at Ambassa are 23.55'128'' N and 91.51'204'' E in degrees minutesseconds(DMS). It originate from Atharamura Hill and is long. Some of the popular riverside townships of Dhalai River are the towns of Ambassa, Baralutma and Kamalpur. Asiatic Society Of Bangladesh
The Asiatic Society of Bangladesh is a non political and non profit research organisation registered under both Society Act of 1864 and NGO Bureau, Government of Bangladesh. The Asiatic Society of Bangladesh was established as the Asiatic Society of East Pakistan in Dhaka in 1952 by a number of Muslim leaders, and renamed in 1972. Ahmed Hasan Dani, a noted Muslim historian and archaeologist of Pakistan played an important role in founding this society. He was assisted by Muhammad Shahidullah, a Bengali linguist. The Bangladesh–India border, known locally as the International Border (IB), is an international border running between Bangladesh and India that demarcates the eight divisions of Bangladesh and the Indian states.
