Dhaka Warriors was one of the nine teams played in the 2008 competition of the defunct Indian Cricket League (ICL). The captain was former Bangladesh cricket team, Bangladeshi captain and batsman Habibul Bashar. The Dhaka Warriors was solely composed of Bangladeshi players and was only the second team in the competition to be represented by players from a single country. Retrieved on 21 September 2008. Habibul Bashar
Qazi Habibul Bashar ( bn, কাজী হাবিবুল বাশার; born 17 August 1972) is a retired Bangladeshi cricketer and the former captain of the Bangladesh cricket team. Under the managership of Dav Whatmore, he has been found to be the most successful captain to lead the Bangladesh team to overcome several milestones. The first test victory of Bangladesh came under his hands in 2004 against Zimbabwe. Under Bashar's captaincy, Bangladesh have beaten Australia, India, South Africa and Sri Lanka in limited overs matches. Bashar is currently one of the chief selectors of BCB, along with Abdur Razzak and Minhajul Abedin. Early career In 1989 Bashar played for the Bangladesh Under-19 team in the U-19 Asia Cup. Golam Mabud
Golam Mabud (born 10 October 1984) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He played in 79 first-class and 55 List A matches from 2001/02 to 2012/13. He was also part of the Dhaka Warriors' squad for the Indian Cricket League (ICL). After initially facing a ten-year ban by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for joining the ICL, Mabud was one of thirteen players to end their relationship with the ICL in June 2009. Left-arm orthodox spin, Left-arm off spin also known as slow left-arm orthodox spin bowling, is a type of left-arm finger spin bowling in the sport of cricket. Left-arm orthodox spin is bowled by a left-arm bowler using the fingers to spin the ball from right to left of the cricket pitch (from the bowler's perspective). Off Break
Off spin is a type of finger spin bowling in cricket. A bowler who uses this technique is called an off spinner. Off spinners are right-handed spin bowlers who use their fingers to spin the ball. Their normal delivery is an off break, which spins from left to right (from the bowler's perspective) when the ball bounces on the pitch.
