Dhaka Leopards
Dhaka Leopards are a Bangladeshi cricket team that has played List A cricket in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League. Dhaka Leopards competed for the first time in the 2022–23 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League. Captained by Junaid Siddique, they played their first match against the previous season's premiers, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, on 15 March 2023, losing by eight wickets. They did not achieve their first victory until the ninth round, when they beat Shinepukur Cricket Club by 76 runs, Raihan Uddin taking 6 for 30, the first time any of their bowlers had taken more than three wickets in an innings. Junaid Siddique
Mohammad Junaid Siddique (born 30 October 1987) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. He is sometimes referred to by his nickname Imrose. A left-handed batsman and occasional right arm off break bowler, he made his debut for Rajshahi Division in 2003/04 and played through the 2006/07 season. He made his Test and ODI debuts during the tour of New Zealand in 2007/08. Early life Siddique was born on 30 October 1987 in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. Chaturanga De Silva
Pinnaduwage Chaturanga de Silva (born 17 January 1990), or Chaturanga de Silva, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays limited over cricket. Chathuranga de Silva was educated at St. Aloysius College, Galle, where he started his cricket career. He is primarily a left-handed batsman but bowls handy slow left-arm orthodox. Mohammad Sohrawordi Shuvo (born 21 November 1988) is a Bangladeshi international cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and slow left-arm orthodox spin bowler. Umar Amin
Umar Amin (born 16 October 1989) is a Pakistani international cricketer. Amin made his One Day International debut in the opening match of the 2010 Asia Cup against Sri Lanka. Amin was also named in the squad for Pakistan's two-match test series against Australia, held in England. The Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, also known as the Dhaka Premier League, is a club List A tournament in Bangladesh. History Since its inauguration in 1973–74 the league has been the premier club cricket competition in Bangladesh. It gained List A status starting with the 2013–14 tournament, thus superseding the National Cricket League One-Day as Bangladesh's main List A competition. 2022–23 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League
The 2022–23 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, also known as Walton Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (for sponsorship reasons), is the ninth edition of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, a List A cricket competition that is being held in Bangladesh. It is being played by the 12 club teams. The tournament started on 15 March 2023. All the matches are being played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, BKSP grounds and Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium. The group phase of the tournament will continue until Eid al-Fitr, while the Super League will begin after the Eid break. Shinepukur Cricket Club
Shinepukur Cricket Club is a cricket team in Bangladesh. Before the 2016–17 season the Cricket Coaching School club defaulted on its player payments and was bought by Beximco, Bangladesh's largest conglomerate, and renamed Shinepukur Cricket Club, after Shinepukur Ceramics, a subsidiary of Beximco.
