Dexter Walker
Dexter "Dex" Walker is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Home and Away'', played by Charles Cottier. He made his first screen appearance during the episode broadcast on 30 July 2009. Tom Green originated the role, but when the Walker family returned in 2010, Cottier took over the part. Cottier quit the role in early 2013 and Dexter made his last appearance on 13 November 2013. Creation and casting In July 2009, it was announced that the Walker family would be introduced to ''Home and Away'' for a five-week guest stint. Thomas Green (born 4 September 1991) is an Australian actor and dancer who is best known for his role as Sammy in the Australian Broadcasting Company, ABC series ''Dance Academy,'' the lead role in ''Camp (TV series), Camp'' as Kip Wampler, and as Thomas Lasky in the ''Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn'' web series. Rachel Marie Holden (also Armstrong and Hyde) is a fictional character from the Australian Channel Seven soap opera '' Home and Away'', played by Amy Mathews. Rachel debuted on-screen during the episode airing on 16 January 2006. In 2010 Mathews quit the serial to pursue other projects and her on-screen husband Tony Holden was also written out. Summer Bay is the fictional coastal town featured in the Australian soap opera, '' Home and Away''. Palm Beach, the most Northern beach of Sydney, is used for the show's exterior scenes in order to depict the Bay. Between 2010 and 2014, the Lane Cove River Tourist Park in Macquarie Park was used as the location for filming of scenes involving the Summer Bay Caravan Park.
