Seer Gharbi
Seer Gharbi,, is one of the 51 union councils of Abbottabad District in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located in the southeastern part of the province, bordering the Rawalpindi District of Punjab province (the Murree Hills area). Seer Gharbi also shares a border with the following Union Councils ''within'' Abbottabad District - to the north by Tajwal, to the east Nara and Nagri Totial, to the South by Seer Sharqi Bhattian and to the west by Palak. The terrain of the whole area is hilly and mountainous, to the South lie the plains of the Punjab, travellers from the South find the land rising, the Murree region signals the start of the Himalayan mountain range. The higher altitude makes the climate of this area cooler than the land to the south, and there is usually heavy snowfall in the winter blocking roads and making travel difficult. HAZARA PROVINCE MOVEMENT
Hazara Province Movement (Urdu/Hindko: ) is a movement aimed at creating the Hazara Province in the Hazara division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. History of the movement This movement began in 1957, when regional lawyers Mufti Idrees and Abdul Khaliq first raised the question of a separate province, Kohistan. In 1987, Hazara Qaumi Mahaz (HQM) was founded by Muhammad Asif Malik advocate , a prominent advocate who campaigned for the creation of a separate province. 2010 protests The Eighteenth Amendment to the Constitution of Pakistan was passed on the 8th of April 2010, which among other changes, renamed the North-West Frontier Province to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The name change of the province was met with strong opposition from the people of Hazara and protests erupted in the region with wheel and shutter jam strikes. Haider Zaman Khan
Baba Haider Zaman (1934 – 24 October 2018) was a political personality of Hazara, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. He was known for Hazara Province Movement, a protest campaign against changing the name of Sarhad Province. Baba joined Hazara Qumai mahaz on 17 January 2009 for supporting late Asif Malik cause of Hazara province. In 2010, the whole political leadership of Hazara Division was united under his guidance and a demand of separate Hazara Province was strengthened by a division-wide protest. He was previously a Provincial Minister and District Nazim of Abbottabad. Biography Haider Zaman Khan was born in the Dewal Manal village of Abbottabad District in 1934 to the Karlal tribe. Karlal
The Karlal (Urdu: کڑلال), also known as ''Karral'', ''Kiraal'', and '' Sardar'' is a Hindko and Pahari speaking tribe dwelling mostly in the Abbottabad District of the Hazara Division region of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Etymology and origins The Karlal oral tradition states that the tribe is descended from a man named Kallar Shah who had migrated to present-day Abbottabad district from present day Afghanistan. After Pakistan's independence In 1957, Mohammad Abdul Ghafoor Hazarvi, a Karlal, became the first recipient of the highest civilian award of Pakistan, the Nishan-e-Imtiaz. Nathia Gali or Nathiagali ( ur, ) is a hill station and mountain resort town located in the Abbottabad District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is located at the centre of the Galyat range, where several hill stations are situated.
