Dewandaru Airport is an airport serving Karimunjawa, an archipelago in Central Java province of Indonesia. Dewandaru Airport is located on Kemujan Island in Karimunjawa. Kemujan Island is considered to be a part of Karimun Island, the largest island in Karimunjawa, as both islands are only separated by a small river. The distance from the airport to the city centre at Karimun Island is 22 kilometres. Karimunjawa
Karimunjawa Islands or Karimunjava Islands ( id, Kepulauan Karimunjawa) is an archipelago of 27 islands in the Java Sea, Indonesia, approximately 80 kilometres northwest of Jepara. They have a total land area of 71.2 km2. The main island is known as Karimun (2,700 ha), while the second-largest island is Kemujan (1,400 ha). At the 2020 Census, the population of the island group was 9,789Badan Pusat Statistik, Jakarta, 2021. who lived on five of the islands. The population is largely Javanese, with pockets of Bugis and Madurese inhabitants.
