Devon McKenney
Devon McKenney (born September 14, 1984 in North Olmsted, Ohio) is an American soccer player. Career College and Amateur McKenney attended North Olmsted High School, helping them to the conference and district championships his senior season, with no losses throughout the season, and being named to the first-team All-Southwestern Conference, All-Greater Cleveland, All-Ohio and All-Central United States in 2002. He played college soccer at the University of Akron, where he was named to the All-MAC Second Team as a junior. During his college years he also played with Bradenton Academics in the USL Premier Development League. Professional McKenney spent 2008 with the Columbus Crew reserves, playing in the MLS Reserve Division, but never being called up to the senior team. He caught the eye of Carolina RailHawks head coach Martin Rennie during the 2009 pre-season, and was signed to a professional contract on April 1, 2009. North Olmsted, Ohio
North Olmsted is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 32,442. North Olmsted is a west side suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, and is the 8th most populated city within Cuyahoga County. History After the European discovery of the New World, the land that became North Olmsted was originally part of the French colony of Canada (New France), which was ceded in 1763 to Great Britain and renamed Province of Quebec. Martin Rennie (football Manager)
Martin Rennie is a Scottish football coach, who was most recently the manager of Scottish League One side Falkirk. Early life Born in Thurso, Scotland to Fiona and Cliff Rennie on 22 May 1975, Martin Rennie spent the first 10 years of his life in Bettyhill where his father was a Church of Scotland minister. In 1985, Rennie's father accepted a call to the Old Parish Church, in Larbert and the family moved there. Rennie was schooled at Ladeside Primary, and Larbert High School, at weekends he would watch Falkirk F.C. play, later becoming a ballboy for the team. Rennie went on to study for a business degree at Glasgow Caledonian University. In his final year, he received a tryout for the Charlotte Eagles but suffered a cruciate ligament injury to his right knee.
