Devil In The Brain
''Devil in the Brain'' ( it, Il diavolo nel cervello) is a 1972 Italian psychological thriller movie. Plot Oscar Minno returns from working several years overseas and looks up his old flame Sandra. Sandra is widowed and lives in a childlike mental state on her family's estate, cared for by the overprotective Countess de Blanc. Sandra's son, Ricky, is suspected of having killed his father, Fabrizio, as well as a vagrant trespassing on the estate. Ricky is then sent to a reform school run by nuns. Oscar's doctor friend believes that Ricky is mentally fit and begins to suspect that there is much more to the story. Sergio Sollima
Sergio Sollima (17 April 1921 – 1 July 2015) was an Italian film director and Screenwriter, script writer. Biography Sollima graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 1935. During World War II he was in the Italian Resistance. After the war he gradually progressed from working as a film critic, to screenwriting, to becoming a director Like many Italian Cult following, cult directors, Sollima started his career as a screenwriter in the 1950s and wrote many peplum films in the 1960s. He made his directing debut doing one of the four sequences in the anthology film ''Of Wayward Love''. Sollima filmed three Eurospy films then moved to spaghetti westerns. ''The Big Gundown'' (starring Lee Van Cleef and Tomas Milian) was released in 1966 with big success, despite the fact that it had to compete with Sergio Leone's ''The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'' and Sergio Corbucci's ''Django (1966 film), Django''. Orchidea De Santis (born 20 December 1948, Bari) is an Italian television and film actress. Biography Orchidea De Santis is an Italian actress in cinema, theatre and television. Renato Cestiè (born January 11, 1963) is a former Italian film actor. He was Italy's top child star of the 1970s. His best-known work was in tear-jerkers such as ''The Last Snows of Spring'', where he would play a neglected child who, most often, would die of disease by the end of the film. Despite their grim themes, these films were successful and spawned many imitators. Several of Cestiè's movies were also popular in the UK, where they were released by GTO Films. In his adult career he mostly worked on television.
