Devils Tower (also known as Bear Lodge Butte) is a butte, possibly laccolithic, composed of igneous rock in the Bear Lodge Ranger District of the Black Hills, near Hulett and Sundance in Crook County, northeastern Wyoming, above the Belle Fourche River. It rises 1,267 feet (386 m) above the Belle Fourche River, standing 867 feet (265 m) from summit to base. The summit is 5,112 feet (1,559 m) above sea level. ''Devil's Tower'' is a 2014 horror film and the feature film directorial debut of Owen Tooth. The movie was first released in the United Kingdom on 16 September 2014 and stars Jason Mewes and Roxanne Pallett as two people that find themselves forced to fight against zombies. Of the film, Pallett stated that she found her role to be very demanding, as it required her to work eighteen-hour days over a period of two months. Synopsis Sarah (Roxanne Pallett) is a woman that has been thrown out of her house by her alcoholic mother and forced to live in Albion Court, a run-down apartment building with a seedy reputation. Devil's Tower (Gibraltar)
The Devil's Tower was an ancient watchtower in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar close to a rock shelter where fossil remains of a Neanderthal child were discovered, together with palaeolithic tools. The Tower and remains, however, were unrelated. Construction The tower was constructed in limestone. Devils Tower comprises two small and rugged granite islands, with a combined area of , in south-eastern Australia. It is part of Tasmania’s Curtis Group, lying in northern Bass Strait between the Furneaux Group and Wilsons Promontory in Victoria. It is a nature reserve. The island was sighted and named by Lieutenant James Grant on 9 December 1800 from the survey brig HMS Lady Nelson.
