Detroit Steel is a fictional suit of powered armor appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, in which it is usually operated by adversaries or rivals of Iron Man. Created by writer Matt Fraction and artist Salvador Larocca, Detroit Steel first appeared in ''Iron Man'' (vol 5) #25 (June 2010) as part of the "Stark Resilient" storyline. The Invincible Iron Man (comics)
''The Invincible Iron Man'' is a comic book series written by Matt Fraction with art by Salvador Larroca, published by Marvel Comics and starring the superhero Iron Man. After issue #33 ''The Invincible Iron Man'' returned to its original numbering with issue #500. It concluded with issue 527, succeeded by the Marvel NOW!–imprinted ''Iron Man'' series. Story arcs "The Five Nightmares" (#1–7) Iron Man fights Ezekiel Stane, son of Obadiah Stane; who sought to avenge the death of his father by destroying Stark Industries. Stark Industries, later also known as Stark International, Stark Innovations, Stark Enterprises and Stark Resilient, is a fictional company appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The company is depicted as being owned and run by businessman and namesake Tony Stark, who is also known as Iron Man. It first appeared in ''Tales of Suspense'' No. 40 (April 1963) and was founded by Tony's father, Howard Stark. According to Forbes 25's "Largest Fictional Companies" it had an estimated sales of $20.3 billion, ranking it at number 16. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Stark Industries has a logo modeled after the defense contractor Lockheed Martin and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange as SIA. Pepper Potts
Virginia "Pepper" Potts is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She serves as a supporting character to Iron Man and sometimes a romantic interest of Tony Stark. Created by writers Stan Lee and Robert Bernstein and designed by artist Don Heck, she first appeared in ''Tales of Suspense'' #45 (Sept. 1963). Larocca, Salvador
Salvador Larroca () is a Spanish comic book artist, primarily known for his American work on various ''X-Men'' titles for Marvel Comics. Career After several years of working as a cartographer, he began working as a comic artist at Marvel UK, the Britain-based imprint of Marvel Comics. Larroca was working at Marvel UK when he contributed to ''Dark Angel'' and ''Death's Head II.'' At some point, Larroca began to work on mainstream North American comics, such as DC Comics' ''Flash''. Afterwards, Larroca did a three-year run on Marvel Comics' ''Ghost Rider'', during the mid-1990s. It was not until after his run on ''Ghost Rider'', that Larroca would gain the exposure needed to become known as one of the most prominent comic book artists in the United States.
