Detroit Ignition (MISL) Players
The Detroit Ignition were an American indoor soccer team that has played three seasons, most recently 2008–09. In April 2006, Greg Bibb, president of Hantz Group Sports and Entertainment, introduced the teams as a new Major Indoor Soccer League expansion team. They played at the Compuware Sports Arena in Plymouth Township, Michigan. Their first season was 2006–07 MISL season. After the 2007–08 MISL season, the league folded. Soon afterwards, the Ignition joined the Xtreme Soccer League. The Ignition ended the 2008–09 campaign in first place which netted them the XSL title. The XSL went on "hiatus" after one season. Ryan Mack
Gary “Ryan” Mack (born November 13, 1979, in Birmingham, Michigan) is an American soccer midfielder who played for the Syracuse Silver Knights of the MISL. Youth Mack was the Michigan High School Player of the Year as a soccer player at Seaholm High School. He attended Indiana University where he played on the men’s soccer team from 1998 to 2002. In 1998 and 1999, the Hoosiers won the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship. He was a 2000 third team All American, but missed the 2001 season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, returning for a final season in 2002. Professional On January 17, 2003, the Chicago Fire selected Mack in the third round (25th overall) in the 2003 MLS SuperDraft. In 2004, he played for the Syracuse Salty Dogs of the USL A-League. Bob Lilley (soccer)
Robert "Bob" Lilley (born May 2, 1966) is an American soccer coach who is the head coach of USL Championship club Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC. He has managed the Hershey Wildcats, Montreal Impact, Vancouver Whitecaps, Detroit Ignition, and Rochester Rhinos. A former midfielder, he played collegiately at George Mason before appearing at the professional level for Orlando Lions and Maryland Bays and indoors with Hershey Impact, Harrisburg Heat, and Pittsburgh Stingers. Playing career Bob Lilley attended George Mason University and played for the George Mason Patriots from 1984 to 1987. He played in 82 games for the Patriots, which was the second-most appearances in school history Lilley served as team captain for the Patriots. Mark Pulisic
Mark Pulisic (born September 20, 1968) is an American soccer former footballer and coach who is currently the assistant manager of Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC in the USL Championship. College Pulisic attended George Mason University, where he played soccer from 1986 to 1989. He finished with thirty-five career goals in 73 appearances. In 2012, he was voted into the George Mason Men's Soccer Hall of Fame. Harrisburg Heat In 1991, Pulisic turned professional with the Harrisburg Heat of the National Professional Soccer League (NPSL). He remained with the Heat throughout his career, retiring from playing professionally in 1999. When he retired, the Heat honored him with a Mark Pulisic Night at the Farm Show Arena in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He was then inducted into the team's Hall of Fame, joining Bob Lilley, Richard Chinapoo, and Todd Smith. Andy Crawford (footballer, Born 1967)
Andrew "Andy" or "Drew" Crawford is a Scottish-American soccer coach and retired player who played professionally in the National Professional Soccer League and the Continental Indoor Soccer League. Player Youth Born in Scotland, Crawford grew up in Three Rivers, Michigan. In 1985, he graduated from Three Rivers High School where he was an All State soccer player. Crawford attended Siena Heights College, playing on the men's soccer team from 1985 to 1988. During his four seasons with the Saints, he was a 1987 First Team and a 1988 Honorable Mention NAIA All American. Nate Craft
Nate Craft (born March 28, 1977 in Royal Oak, Michigan) is a U.S. soccer defender with the Michigan Bucks in the USL Premier Development League Craft spent several years playing recreational soccer while working as a factory manager. In 2003, he joined the Michigan Bucks of the Premier Development League. His excellent play brought him to the attention of the Rochester Rhinos of the USL First Division. He signed with the Rhinos in the spring of 2006 and has remained with the team since then. In the fall of 2006, he joined the Detroit Ignition of the Major Indoor Soccer League. Danny Waltman (born September 19, 1981, in Gig Harbor, Washington) is an American soccer player best known for his career as a goalkeeper in professional indoor soccer. He currently plays for the Tacoma Stars in the Major Arena Soccer League. Career Youth and College Waltman began his soccer career with Solaris '81, Washington state champions each of his seven seasons. He attended Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma, Washington. While there, he was a four-year starter on the boys’ soccer team. In those four seasons, the school was undefeated in league play. Kyriakos "Kyt" Selaidopoulos (born February 26, 1978) is a Canadian soccer and futsal coach who serves as an assistant coach of Forge FC and head coach of the Canadian national futsal team. Leo Gibson (born August 9, 1983) is a Liberian footballer who currently plays for and is the former head coach for the Kansas City Comets in the MASL. Career College Gibson was born in Monrovia, Liberia, but came to the United States in 2002, having previously played for the Monrovia Black Star youth team in the Liberian Premier League. He played college soccer at King College in Tennessee in 2002 and 2003.
