Destiny Williams, also known as Cliffhanger, is an American basketball forward for the Baylor Lady Bears. Nationally ranked as the No. 8 senior according to ESPN HoopGurlz Williams attended the Nike Skills Regional Academy in 2007. Playing career Baylor Lady Bears Destiny transferred from Illinois and has enrolled at Baylor. Won a national championship with Baylor during the 2011–12 season. Illinois Fighting Illini 2009-10 As a McDonald's All-America selection, she is the first Illinois signee ever to receive the honor. Baylor Lady Bears Basketball
The Baylor Bears women's basketball team represents Baylor University in Waco, Texas, in NCAA Division I women's basketball competition. They currently compete in the Big 12 Conference. The team plays its home games in Ferrell Center. Before the 2021–22 season, the team had been known as the "Lady Bears", but on September 3, 2021, the school officially announced that women's basketball had dropped "Lady" from its nickname. McDonald's High School All-Americans
The McDonald's All-American Game is the all-star basketball game played each year for American and Canadian boys' and girls' high school basketball graduates. Consisting of the top players, each team plays a single exhibition game after the conclusion of the high-school basketball season, in an East vs. West format. As part of the annual event, boys and girls compete in a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting competition, and compete alongside All-American Game alumni in a timed team shootout. The last of these competitions replaced separate overall timed skills competitions for boys and girls. It is rare for girls to compete in the slam dunk contest. Forward (basketball)
In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view.
