''Destiny Street'' is the second and final studio album by American punk music, punk band Richard Hell and the Voidoids. It was released in 1982 by record label Red Star Records, Red Star. Richard Hell And The Voidoids
Richard Hell and the Voidoids were an American punk rock band, formed in New York City in 1976 and fronted by Richard Hell, a former member of the Neon Boys, Television (band), Television and the Heartbreakers. History Kentucky-born Richard Hell, Richard Meyers moved to New York City after dropping out of high school in 1966, aspiring to become a poet. He and his best friend from high school, Tom Verlaine, Tom Miller, founded the rock band the Neon Boys which became Television (band), Television in 1973. The pair adopted stage names; Miller called himself Verlaine after Paul Verlaine, a French poet he admired, and Meyers became Richard Hell because, as he has said, it described his condition. Roberta Bayley
Roberta Bayley is a photographer, best known for her photographs of the New York punk scene of the 70s. Life Bayley was born in Pasadena, California and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended San Francisco State University for three years before dropping out in 1971. She moved to London where she lived for three years, before moving to New York in the spring of 1974. Bayley met musician and poet Richard Hell, and soon began working the door at CBGBs at the request of Terry Ork, the manager of Hell's band Television. In 1978 Bayley went to work for Blondie in the office of Peter Leeds, the manager of the band at the time. While Bayley had taken a few photography classes in high school in the 60s, it wasn't until November 1975 that she bought a camera to document what she saw going on in New York's downtown music scene. Fred Maher
Frederick J. Maher is an American drummer, music programmer and record producer. He was a member of the bands Massacre (1980–81), the Dance, Material, Scritti Politti, and has recorded and toured with Lou Reed. In 1984 he released ''Basic'', an instrumental collaboration album with ex- Voidoids guitarist Robert Quine. Robert Wolfe Quine (December 30, 1942 – May 31, 2004) was an American guitarist. A native of Akron, Ohio, Quine worked with a wide range of musicians, though he himself remained relatively unknown. Tommy Scott (Scottish Musician)
Thomas Kilpatrick (born 1940), known as Tommy Scott, is a Scottish songwriter, producer and singer. As a songwriter and producer in the 1960s and '70s he had numerous hits in pop, rock, and folk styles; including records with Them, The Dubliners, Sydney Devine, Twinkle, and Lena Zavaroni. From the 1980s onwards he has sung and recorded traditional Scottish music. Biography Scott worked in Glasgow's shipyards, before a musical career which has included touring with ''The White Heather Club'' and Jimmy Shand, and recordings including total sales of over a million. Nicholas Joseph Zinner (born December 8, 1974) is an American guitarist for the New York rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs and a record producer. Zinner is an accomplished photographer. Musical career Before forming the Yeah Yeahs Yeahs with Karen O and Brian Chase in 2000, Zinner attended Bard College where he played in the Boba Fett Experience, who later changed their name to Challenge of the Future because of concerns about being sued by George Lucas.
