Destiny (singer)
Destiny Chukunyere M.Q.R. (born 29 August 2002) is a Maltese singer. She won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015, where she represented Malta with the song " Not My Soul". In 2017, she participated in the eleventh series of ''Britain's Got Talent'' and finished 6th in the second semi-final and thus was eliminated. She won the second season of the Maltese version of ''The X Factor'' and was chosen to represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam with the song " All of My Love" however the contest was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, Destiny represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, this time with the song "Je me casse", where she finished in 7th place with 255 points. Birkirkara
Birkirkara (abbreviated as B'Kara) is a city in the central region of Malta. It is the second most populous on the island, with 24,356 inhabitants as of 2020. The town consists of five autonomous parishes: Saint Helen, Saint Joseph the Worker, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Saint Mary and San Gorg Preca. The city's motto is ''In hoc signo vinces'', and its coat of arms is a plain red cross, surmounted by a crown. Etymology ''Birkirkara'' means "cold water" or "running water". The Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC, mt, Dar il-Mediterran għall-Konferenzi) is a Convention center, conference centre in Valletta, Malta. The building was built as a hospital in the 16th century by the Knights Hospitaller, Order of St. John, and it was known as the Sacra Infermeria or the Holy Infirmary ( mt, Il-Furmarija). It was known as the Grand Hôspital during the French occupation of Malta and during the British period was named as the Station Hospital. Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza ("Independence Song Contest") is Maltese song competition held on a day near September 21 (Malta's independence day). All songs are performed in the Maltese language and is one of the most anticipated events on the Maltese musical calendar. The event first took place back in 1983 in a span of four years until 1987 before returning just 10 years later in 1997 going on to take place each and every year since then. Several local stars like to submit their entries into such a prestigious musical event due to the fact that the songs are written in Maltese. Ndubisi Chukunyere
Ndubisi Chukunyere (born 23 December 1979 in Lagos, Nigeria) is a former Nigerian footballer who last played for Maltese Premier League side Hibernians, in the capacity of striker. Playing career Chukunyere began his career as a member of Stationery Stores, then moved to Kano Pillars before moving to Malta. He made his international debut for Nigeria when he played in a friendly match against Egypt in Lagos, and was in talks to join the Super Eagles. In 2001, Chukunyere was named one of the most prolific African scorers in the current European season by the BBC. The following year, he was named Best Foreign Player at the Malta Football Awards. In 2003, a Qatari club attempted to buy Chukunyere but the offer was turned down as his club, Hibernians, had asked for a million dollars.
