Ina Balin
Ina Balin (née Rosenberg; November 12, 1937 – June 20, 1990) was an American stage, film, and television actress. She is best known for her role in the film ''From the Terrace'' (1960), for which she received two Golden Globe Award nominations and won one for Most Promising Newcomer – Female. Early years Balin was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Jewish parents. Her father, Sam Rosenberg, was a dancer, singer and comedian who worked the Borscht Belt. Gloria Rose "Barbara" Turner (July 14, 1936 – April 5, 2016) was an American screenwriter and actress. One of her daughters is the actress Jennifer Jason Leigh. Early life Turner was born in Brooklyn, New York to Pearl Pauline (née Zises) and Alexander Turner. Armando Silvestre Carrascosa (born January 28, 1926) is a Mexican-American actor. Life and career Silvestre was born on January 28, 1926 in San Diego, California, but he is originally from Tijuana, Mexico. He dropped out of college in order to pursue a career in bullfighting, but turned to acting after being badly gored by a bull. In 1960, Silvestre starred in '' Las rosas del milagro'', a historical drama set during the time of the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire. Eddra Gale (July 16, 1921 – May 13, 2001) was an American actress and singer of Czech descent. Early years Born in Chicago, Illinois, Gale was the daughter of an executive with a men's clothing company. Both of her parents were musically oriented. Gale began performing when she was three years old. She spoke French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Career Originally an opera singer, Gale later performed as a concert singer in Rome. Anthony Caruso (April 7, 1916 – April 4, 2003) was an American character actor in more than one hundred American films, usually playing villains and gangsters, including the first season of Walt Disney's ''Zorro'' as Captain Juan Ortega. Life and career Caruso was born in Frankfort, Indiana, While acting at the Pasadena Playhouse, he met Alan Ladd, beginning a friendship that continued as they made 11 films together.
