Design Triangle is a transport design firm, based in Cambridge, UK. Founded in 1986, Design Triangle specializes in the design of the interiors and exteriors of vehicles (and vessels) for public transport, particularly rail passenger cars. Rail Vehicles Design Triangle is best known for the concept design of the interior and exterior of the Heathrow Express Class 332 trains and the exterior design of the MTR Hong Kong Airport Express. Other published work includes the design of the larnrod Eireann Inter-City Mark 4 trains and the interior concept design for the Class 378 rail cars for London Overground. The project management triangle (called also the ''triple constraint'', ''iron triangle'' and ''project triangle'') is a model of the constraints of project management. While its origins are unclear, it has been used since at least the 1950s. Docklands Light Railway
The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) is an automated light metro system serving the redeveloped Docklands area of London, England and provides a direct connection between London's two major financial districts, Canary Wharf and the City of London. First opened on 31 August 1987, the DLR has been extended multiple times, giving a total route length of . Lines now reach north to Stratford, south to Lewisham, west to and in the City of London financial district, and east to Beckton, London City Airport and Woolwich Arsenal.
