Desi Curry
Desmond "Desi" Curry (born 19 September 1960) is a Northern Irish football manager,Who is now the GM of Glentoran FC. Formally the caretaker manager of the Gibraltar national football team between January and June 2018. He has served as Technical Director for the Gibraltar Football Association since 2016. Since 2020 he has been in charge of the Gibraltar national under-19 football team while also coaching the under-17s. Career Curry played football at schoolboy level, representing Stranmillis University College's side while studying. After graduating, he became the head of Physical Education at Laurehill Community College before working part-time at Irish Football Association. In 2009, Curry, who was previously a manager for a number of years for Northern Ireland under 16, was named IFA's Technical Director. Gibraltar National Football Team
The Gibraltar national football team represents Gibraltar in international football competitions, and is controlled by the Gibraltar Football Association. Gibraltar applied for full UEFA membership and was accepted by the UEFA Congress in May 2013. It can therefore compete in the UEFA European Championship starting with the 2016 tournament for which the team competed in UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying Group D. On 13 May 2016 Gibraltar became a member of FIFA at the governing body's 66th Congress which was held in Mexico City. Gibraltar is the second smallest UEFA member in terms of population (only San Marino has a smaller population) and the smallest in terms of area. Liam Walker (born 13 April 1988) is a Gibraltarian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Lincoln Red Imps and the Gibraltar national team. He spent most of his career with lower-league Spanish clubs and in the Gibraltar Premier Division. Jeffrey Reginald Wood (born 4 February 1954) is an English former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is currently the head of coaching for Europa, and was also goalkeeping coach for the Wales U19 and Wales U21 teams. Career Playing After being released as a youth player by Colchester United, Wood started his professional career at Charlton Athletic, spending seven seasons at the club and winning promotion to the Second Division in the 1980–81 season, before moving back to Colchester for one season.
