Xiu Deshun
Xiu Deshun (; born 1 February 1989, in Qingdao) is a Chinese chess grandmaster. He was a member of the gold medal-winning Chinese team at the Asian Nations Cup 2014 in Tabriz, Iran, where he also won the individual gold medal on the reserve board (board 5). Xiu played for the Chinese team also in the World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad of 2004, winning the team gold medal. He won the Thailand Open Chess Championship (also known as Bangkok Chess Club Open) in 2008 and 2009, and the IGB Dato' Arthur Tan Malaysia Open in 2013. Deshun Deysel
The 1996 South African Everest expedition was a heavily publicised expedition by a South African climbing team to summit Mount Everest. The expedition was led by Ian Woodall, and was intended to be a celebration of post-apartheid South Africa. Woodall and Cathy O'Dowd summited together. Bruce Herrod reached the summit afterward but died during his descent. Although the expedition was not caught up in the 1996 Mount Everest disaster, it unfolded while the South African team was on the mountain. Initially sponsored by the Sunday Times, after a falling out with the paper, other outlets covered the expedition including 702 Talk Radio. He was featured on season 2 of the ''AND1 Mixtape Tour'' television show on ESPN, and later on the show '' ESPN City Slam''. Jackson is 6-foot 1-inch tall and plays shooting guard.
