''Desensitized'' is an album by the industrial metal band, Pitchshifter, released on Earache Records in 1993. A music video was made for the track "Triad" that featured the band playing in a white room. The same track was also featured in the 1994 science fiction/horror film '' Brainscan''. ''Desensitized'' is the second studio album by American rock band Drowning Pool. It was their first album since the death of vocalist Dave Williams as well as the only album to feature replacement vocalist Jason Jones. The album debuted at number 17 on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart. The album cover features porn star Jesse Jane. ''Desensitized'' shows less nu metal elements than Drowning Pool's previous album, '' Sinner''. Jones left the band soon after the album's release because of personal and musical differences. "Step Up” is the only song from ''Desensitized'' that is played live during today's performances. "Step Up" was featured in the 2004 film ''The Punisher'' and was the theme song for WWE's WrestleMania XX. It was also featured in the compilation album '' MTV2 Headbangers Ball, Vol. 2''. The album contains B-sides, rarities, covers, and the previously unreleased track "Ha Ha You're Dead". '' Let's Face It'' is the fifth studio album by American ska punk band The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. It was released on March 11, 1997 by Mercury Records and Big Rig Records. The album sold very well due to the success of its single "The Impression That I Get", which reached No. 1 on the ''Billboard'' Modern Rock Tracks chart. Also faring well were the album's other two singles, "Royal Oil" (No. 22) and " The Rascal King" (No. 7). The album itself reached No. 27 on the ''Billboard'' 200 (the only Bosstones album to enter the top 50). The album has been certified platinum. Darker Half
Darker-half is a heavy metal band from Sydney, led by vocalist Vo Simpson and known for their energetic live performances, their style has been described as power/thrash. History Singer/guitarist Vo Simpson started Darker Half in 2003 while in high school. The band performed in halls and occasionally (illegally) in pubs. Darker Half's first foray into the wider Australian metal community was the band's performance at the first Metalstock festival in 2005. Drummer Jim Bridgeman and bass player Max Griffiths left the band when they graduated from high school and were replaced by Benito Martino (drums) and Simon Hamilton (bass). An EP "Enough is Enough" was released at the second Metalstock festival in 2006. A song from the EP was included in the soundtrack of the feature film DarkLoveStory.
