Des Terblanche
Desmond Terblanche (born 27 October 1965) is a South African professional golfer who plays currently on the Sunshine Tour. He has won 12 times on the Sunshine Tour, along with three wins on the Asian Tour. Terblanche was born in Vryburg, South Africa. He won the Junior World Championship in 1983. He turned professional in 1987. He was married in 1988 and has two teenage children. His 12 wins on the Sunshine Tour came between 1989 and 2007. Vryburg () is a large agricultural town with a population of 48,400 situated in the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Municipality of the North West Province (South Africa), North West Province of South Africa. Justin Hobday
Justin Richard Hobday (born 12 August 1963) is a South African professional golfer who has won eleven official money events on the Sunshine Tour. Hobday was born in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire, England, and is the nephew of golfer Simon Hobday, twice winner on the European Tour. Hobday turned professional in 1985 and joined the Southern Africa Tour, now the Sunshine Tour. He was awarded the Bobby Locke Trophy as the Rookie of the Year in 1986, and went on to win his first event in 1989. He would win ten more tournaments official money events on the tour between then and 2001. Between 1987 and 2002, Hobday competed also on the European Tour, where he had a best finish of 92nd place on the Order of Merit in 1992, with a tournament best of third in the Peugeot Spanish Open that same year. 2007 Sunshine Tour
The 2007 Sunshine Tour was the eighth season of professional golf tournaments since the southern Africa based Sunshine Tour was rebranded in 2000, and the marked the beginning of a new era as the tour switched to a calendar based season, having previously been seasonal. The Sunshine Tour represents the highest level of competition for male professional golfers in the region. The tour was based predominantly in South Africa, with 24 of the 28 tournaments being held in the country. Two events were held in Swaziland, with one each in Zambia and Namibia.
