Derrick Cullors
Derrick Shane Cullors (born December 26, 1972) is an American former professional football player in the National Football League (NFL). He was with the New England Patriots for four years, as a running back and kick returner. While only rushing for 149 yards in his entire career Cullors did play a significant role for the Patriots during the 1997-98 NFL playoffs. With star running back Curtis Martin injured he helped lead the Patriots to victory over the Miami Dolphins during the Wildcard round. On a pivotal drive in the 3rd quarter, the first sustained scoring drive for either team, he contributed by carrying the ball 7 times for 42 yards, which ended in a field goal to give the Patriots a 17–0 lead. They would go on to win 17–3 as Cullors ended up being the game's leading rusher with 86 yards on 22 carries. In 1998, he finished tied for third in the AFC, with 1085 yards on 45 returns. Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins are a professional American football team based in the Miami metropolitan area. They compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member team of the league's American Football Conference (AFC) East division. Drew Bledsoe
Drew McQueen Bledsoe (born February 14, 1972) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 seasons, primarily with the New England Patriots. He played college football at Washington State, where he won Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year as a junior, and was selected by the Patriots first overall in the 1993 NFL Draft. Considered the face of the Patriots franchise during his nine seasons with the team, Bledsoe helped improve New England's fortunes from 1993 to 2001. American Football Conference
The American Football Conference (AFC) is one of the two conferences of the National Football League (NFL), the highest professional level of American football in the United States. The AFC and its counterpart, the National Football Conference (NFC), each contain 16 teams with 4 divisions. Both conferences were created as part of the 1970 merger between the National Football League, and the American Football League (AFL). All ten of the AFL teams, and three NFL teams, became members of the new AFC, with the remaining thirteen NFL teams forming the NFC.
