Derlis Gómez
Derlis Venancio Gómez López (born 2 November 1972) is a retired Paraguayan footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Career Gómez played club football for Club Sol de América, Club Guaraní, Club 12 de Octubre, Sportivo Luqueño, Club Olimpia, Club Libertad and Club Nacional in Paraguay and Quilmes Atlético Club in Argentina. Gómez was also part of the Paraguay national team. He was named in his country's squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, though he did not start for the team. In April 2003, Gómez was banned from playing in CONMEBOL-organized competitions for 6 months following a positive doping test. Ypacaraí
Ypacaraí is a town in the Central Department of Paraguay on the Lake Ypacarai. On the Paraguayan highway system, it is located between Asunción and Caacupé, near Areguá and San Bernardino. Known as the "City of Folklore" after the Ypacaraí Festival, it is located on the Ybytypanemá mountain range, which is in the Los Altos mountain range, near the Ypacaraí lake. In 2020, the village had a population of 28,283, and is 64.1 m above sea level. Notable agricultural crops of the area include tobacco and cotton. Lake Ypacaraí is popular with tourists and locals in the landlocked nation of Paraguay. Paraguayan footballer Carlos Gamarra is from Ypacaraí. Club Nacional is a Paraguayan professional football club based in the neighbourhood of Obrero in Asunción. Founded in 1904, the club currently plays in the Paraguayan Primera División, and holds its home games at Estadio Arsenio Erico. Internationally, the club is referred to as Nacional Asunción, in order to distinguish itself from Uruguay's Nacional and Colombia's Atlético Nacional.
