Derick Roberson
Derick Roberson (born November 15, 1995) is an American football linebacker for the Houston Roughnecks of the XFL. He played college football at Sam Houston State. Professional career Tennessee Titans Roberson was signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 9, 2019. He was waived on August 31, 2019, and was signed to the practice squad the next day. Roberson was promoted to the active roster on October 19, 2019, but was waived three days later and re-signed back to the practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster again on November 26, 2019. During a Week 16 38-28 loss to the New Orleans Saints, Roberson recorded his first two career sacks on Drew Brees. In the regular-season finale against the Houston Texans, he recorded three tackles and a sack in the 35-14 road victory. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). Drew Brees
Drew Christopher Brees (; born January 15, 1979) is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 20 seasons. A member of the New Orleans Saints for most of his career, Brees is the NFL leader in career completion percentage, and is second in career passing yards, career touchdown passes, career pass attempts, and career pass completions. He also holds the record of consecutive games with a touchdown pass, breaking the feat held by Johnny Unitas for 52 years. Brees played college football at Purdue, where he set the Big Ten Conference records for completions, attempts, and yards. Despite his collegiate success, questions over his height and arm strength caused him to not be selected until the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers.
