Derek Schouman
Derek Schouman (born March 11, 1985) is a former professional athlete in the NFL. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at Boise State. He has also played for the St. Louis Rams. Early life Born in Sandy, Utah, Schouman was raised in Ada County, Idaho. He attended Eagle High School in Eagle, Idaho, where he lettered in football and was a two-year starter as a tight end. As a junior, he was an impact player for the State Championship team. As a senior, he was a first-team All-Southern Idaho Conference selection and as a junior, he was a second-team All-Southern Idaho Conference selection. College career Schouman was a four-year starter at Boise State. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic. In some systems, the tight end will merely act as a sixth offensive lineman, rarely going out for passes. Jared Zabransky
Jared Zabransky (born December 4, 1983) is a former professional gridiron football quarterback in the National Football League and the Canadian Football League. He was signed by the Houston Texans of the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2007 though he was never on an active roster in the NFL. He did play two seasons for the Edmonton Eskimos of the CFL in 2009 and 2010. He played college football at Boise State and was named Offensive Player of the Game in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl. Early years Zabransky grew up in a farming family in Hermiston, Oregon. He attended Hermiston High School and was an accomplished three-sport athlete, competing in football, baseball, and basketball. Zabransky won Eastern Oregon's Male Athlete of the Year award his senior year in 2002. Sprained Ankle
A sprained ankle, also known as a twisted ankle or rolled ankle, is an injury where sprain occurs on one or more ligaments of the ankle. It is the most common injury to occur in ball sports, such as basketball, volleyball, football, and racquet sports. Signs and symptoms Knowing the symptoms that can be experienced with a sprain is important in determining that the injury is not really a break in the bone. When a sprain occurs, hematoma occurs within the tissue that surrounds the joint, causing a bruise. White blood cells responsible for inflammation migrate to the area, and blood flow increases as well. Along with this inflammation, swelling and pain is experienced. The nerves in the area become more sensitive when the injury is suffered, so pain is felt as throbbing and will worsen if there is pressure placed on the area.
