Derek Hahn
Derek Hahn (born December 27, 1977) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward. Playing career After playing collegiate hockey with the R.I.T. Tigers, Hahn made his professional debut with the Elmira Jackals in the United Hockey League. After five seasons in the Central Hockey League as a cult player with the Amarillo Gorillas, Hahn embarked on a European career, signing initially in the AL-Bank Ligaen with the Rødovre Mighty Bulls. Hahn established himself in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga as an offensive force, playing eight seasons with the Frankfurt Lions, Straubing Tigers and ERC Ingolstadt. In 2014, he helped Ingolstadt capture the German championship, tallying 46 points (12 goals, 34 assists) in 52 games throughout the season. AL-Bank Ligaen
Metal Ligaen is the premier league in Danish ice hockey. The league consists of 9 professional teams. The name of the league has changed many times, but is being sponsored by Dansk Metal and therefore got the name Metalligaen. History It is also known as Superisligaen or Eliteserien, which is the name used in the past and in times where no naming rights agreement is in place. On 1 January 2014 Danish Metal (Dansk Metal) became the sponsor of the Danish ice hockey league, which changed the name to Metal Ligaen, replacing the previous name AL-Bank Ligaen which was named for the sponsorship deal with the Danish bank Arbejdernes Landsbank. Elmira Jackals (UHL) Players
The Elmira Jackals were a professional minor league ice hockey team based in Elmira, New York. They were members of the United Hockey League from 2000 to 2007 and the ECHL from 2007 to 2017. The Jackals played their home games at First Arena.
