The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia is the official deputy of the head of government of Armenia. According to Constitution of Armenia the number of Deputy Prime Ministers can be up to three. Coat Of Arms Of Armenia
The national coat of arms of Armenia ( hy, Հայաստանի զինանշանը, ''Hayastani zinanshan'') was adopted on April 19, 1992, by resolution of the Armenian Supreme Council. On June 15, 2006, the Armenian Parliament passed the law on the state coat of arms of Armenia. It consists of an eagle and a lion supporting a shield. The coat of arms combines new and old symbols. The eagle and lion are ancient Armenian symbols dating from the first Armenian kingdoms that existed prior to Christ. These symbols are found on the Armenian Highland from times immemorial. Numerous Armenian dynasties such as Artaxiad, Arsacid, Bagratuni and Rubenid, used these symbols as their royal insignia. Like other post-Soviet republics whose symbols do not predate the October Revolution, the current emblem retained one component of the Soviet one such as the Mount Ararat on the shield. Second Serzh Sargsyan Government
The Second Serzh Sargsyan government was the governing body of Armenia from 17 April 2018 until 23 April 2018. Serzh Sargsyan was elected by National Assembly and was appointed Prime Minister by President Armen Sarkissian on 17 April 2018. It was a coalition government formed by two parliamentary groups: the Republicans and Dashnaktsutyun. The cabinet consisted of eighteen ministries and eight adjunct bodies. Karen Vilhelmi Karapetyan ( hy, Կարեն Վիլհելմի Կարապետյան; born 14 August 1963) is an Armenian politician who was Prime Minister of Armenia from September 2016 until April 2018. The Second Pashinyan government was the executive branch of the government of Armenia from 14 January 2019 to 2 August 2021. Nikol Pashinyan was appointed Prime Minister of Armenia, Prime Minister by President of Armenia, President Armen Sarkissian on 14 January 2019, after My Step Alliance's decisive victory in the 2018 Armenian parliamentary election. The First Pashinyan government was the 16th government of Armenia and the governing body from 12 May 2018 to 14 January 2019. Nikol Pashinyan
Nikol Vovayi Pashinyan ( hy, Նիկոլ Վովայի Փաշինյան, ; born 1 June 1975) is an Armenian politician serving as the prime minister of Armenia since 8 May 2018. A journalist by profession, Pashinyan founded his own newspaper in 1998, which was shut down a year later for libel. He was sentenced for one year for defamation against then Minister of National Security Serzh Sargsyan. He edited the newspaper ''Haykakan Zhamanak'' ("Armenian Times") from 1999 to 2012. A supporter of Armenia's first president Levon Ter-Petrosyan, he was highly critical of second president Robert Kocharyan, Defense Minister Serzh Sargsyan, and their allies, frequently referring to them as the "Karabakh Clan".
